Hello visitors

My name is Dave Deeter, and I am opening Hydroponics Here to share my experience and research with you.  I am 76 years old, and I have been gardening on and off for over 50 years.  I grew up in Indiana, and I am living in Florida now.  Learning to garden in Florida took time and effort.  I am interested in new technology and I am always looking for an easier way to garden.  This is especially true now that I am not as spry as I used to be.

On this site, I will be sharing my insight as well as using and researching new products and sharing that information with you.  I am writing an e-book on the different methods of gardening that I have discovered.  I will be posting excerpts from my book on the blog.

Presently I am doing raised-bed, and container gardening, as well as indoor hydroponic gardening.  Our raised bed Garden has kale and chard that is left from the fall planting.  We also have walking onions with are permanently planted and garlic, which will be harvested in the fall.  The rest of the raised gardens are ready to plant this spring.  In the container gardens are potatoes and two kinds of tomatoes.  The tomato plants that I am growing now are Patio and Florida and we are harvesting tomatoes now.
